On Saturday, November 1, at 10:00am we will be giving a talk about the musicians who are buried in Newport’s Common Burying Ground, as part of Life After Life.

From Revolutionary War drummers to life saving lighthouse keepers, the stories of this diverse group of musicians are fascinating.


Life After Life is a live performance developed through research and performed by 50 community members, visitors will be swept through Newport’s Common Burying Ground and God’s Little Acre as they learn the intertwining, overlapping stories of some of the 8,000 people resting in this fragile and sacred place.

Tickets for the Life after Life afternoon performances will be available beginning October 15.
